Game Roulette

“Game Roulette” is a mobile app which helps players to find new games to play and shows discounts and prices for the ones you don’t have. The idea to start this project came to me when me and my friends were always bored playing the same games.

We were always asking each other: “Okay, what are we playing next?” and the answer always used to be: “I have no idea”. Even with a giant library of games to choose we couldn’t decide anything to play.

BRIEFING

Offering different possibilities and options for every person by creating their own profiles. When choosing interests and game play styles while creating the account is essential for the perfect results. One way to do this is by having different API’s to connect, for example using the most popular gaming platforms, such: Steam, Epic Games, Origin and others.

With the player’s account set it’s possible to know their whole game library by doing this the app helps them choose a game from their own collection, and show discounts and prices in games that the player still doesn’t own.

The process consists in 5 steps: Wireframes, Tests, Layout, Specification and Prototyping. In the Wireframing part there were created multiple pages to make sure all the problems had been solved.
